A Fun Way To Lose Weight – Kettlebell Workout Reviews

Hey all, today I’m talking about weight loss and Kettlebells workouts.

When most people want to lose weight, the first thing they will do is devise an exercise routine and/or go on a diet. Many people fail because of this. I am going to show you a fun way to lose weight,  Kettlebell workout style.

The Problem With Exercise Routines

Now, an exercise routine is great, and is probably the healthiest way to get rid of excess fat, but many people make the mistake of going at it too hard and devising themselves a routine that they cannot keep up once the initial motivation dies down. It also feels too much like hard work.

If you are already feeling a bit miserable and down about your weight, chances are doing some exercise that you hate is going to make you feel worse. If you are trying to diet on top of that, it is a very hard ask. Also, how can you do more exercise AND eat less? I find that one confusing.

Therefore, the trick is to perform an exercise routine that you will love, and that does not feel like hard work, yet still gets great results. This is where the kettlebells come in.

If You Want To Lose Weight Kettlebell Workouts Are For You

As I have posted before, there are some great Kettlebell exercises that even a beginner can perform, and some feedback I have had is that you do not really feel the burn at the time, making it easier to do the exercises.

On top of that, Kettlebells use different motions to most workouts and are referred to as giving a “total body” workout for utilizing all the muscles at the same time. This leads to a lot of lean muscle being built, and a lot of calroeis burned. Great news.

Kettlebell Kickboxing

One such routine that is not exclusively a Kettlebell workout, is Kettlebell Kickboxing. The combination of martial arts (kickboxing) and aerobic exercises, along with the total body workout of the Kettlebells, makes for an incredibly unique workout. You can read a lot more about that on my other page.

The most important thing about this workout DVD? 1,000 calories in an hour, or 500 calories in 25 minutes. That is awesome calorie burn that you won’t even feel. On top of that, because you will enjoy doing it and will have fun, you probably won’t be hating yourself and after just a few weeks you will start to notice results. That means you get a second motivation boost.

The Importance Of Calorie Burn

Like I said, if you are doing exercises you are going to want to eat more to sustain the energy, so being able to quickly burn off a lot of calories is going to help you win the fight. Every few thousand calories that you burn = 1 KG of weight. Because you are building lean muscle on top that, you will also get slimmer faster too. (Muscle takes up less mass than fat).
Kettlebells are great for arms, abs, chests, the butt, everything, and martial arts and aerobics is obviously just as effective.

So for fun weight loss, Kettlebell kickboxing gets my number one recommendation.

Great post! I can’t see myself going to the gym, so these exercises will be done here at the ranch. My wife and I need a new routine. This sounds like fun.

Thank you for this Dom, My partner was asking me to research some exercises which she could incorporate with her daily routine. Kettle bells will defiantly be added in.

Great to know, she might even get you doing it too!

This Kettlebell workout seems like a lot of fun.

I have found that it doesn’t matter what workout I do, if I don’t control my eating habits, I still maintain or gain weight instead of losing it. So now, I’m experimenting with that aspect by using a couple of different healthy alternatives and it seems to be working so far.

Yeah controlling the eating habits is very important especially if you are suddenly doing more exercises and getting more hungry!

Yup, you gotta mix up your routines. It keeps the body guessing but more importantly it makes your workout interesting. Great article! Hope it gets more women involved with fitness.

Ah thanks, that makes it more worthwhile. I definitely feel people fail things because they lose motivation, not because it is too difficult
